Fort Pierce, FL – Inlet State Park (Part 3)

Fort Pierce Inlet State Park

This completes our third paddle in Fort Pierce Inlet State Park.

Our first paddle was along the SL islands, and if you paddle here, make sure to stop at SL-13 (Spoil Island), where opposite of Spoil Island is a sliver of sand and trees, with a swing.

Our second paddle explored the inlet side of the park, clear waters and a visit to Dynamite Point.

This state park is only one of the many Florida State parks, which makes this state like no other. There are still plenty of more islands to explore, countless mangrove alleys and tunnels to weave through and miles of open water to get a good workout. But all three of these tours end at Little Jims Bait & Tackle for some awesome shrimp tacos and cold beverages, often to live music.
