Morning paddle along Manatee Pocket

It was a beautiful morning along Manatee Pocket, Port Salerno, FL. The sun was out and the boat flags hung slack. We had checked the weather and radar knowing the late morning winds would bring in the afternoon thunderstorms – which have been epic lately.

Normally we are so focused on the route itself–– the currents, the tides or the wildlife. But today it was just about two friends in conversation.

I chose this particular music track from the K-Drama, “Crash Landing on You,” because in addition to being hooked on K-Dramas lately, like in the series, this composition seems to convey so much in such a short time – a perfect choice for this particular route.
