If you are looking for a SUP/kayak launch site where the access is easy, the water clear and your chances of seeing manatee are good to great, then this is the place. There are plenty of parking spots along A1A just south of the Coral Cover parking lot — off Beach Road in Jupiter, I would recommend planning your trip here on a weekday due to the boat traffic/wake on the weekends, which becomes a challenge. On this particular day the water was crystal clear and we were treated to sightings of several starfish, turtles, spotted eagle rays, grouper, snook, tropicals, Cassiopea sp. (upside down jellyfish) and manatees. All with the Jupiter Lighthouse as a backdrop. As an aside, a trip to the Lighthouse is awesome and the views from atop are spectacular.
Remember to always time your visits and routes with the winds & tides because the currents can get swift along the lighthouse.
