GearLab DeckPod

I have used, and love, this GearLab DeckPod for my kayaks and most recently my SUP Board. It holds a 2.0 Ltr. water-bladder and has decent length sipping hose that tucks neatly out of the way but easy to extract for use. There are two side velcro and strap catches for holding just about anything from hand-pump to paddle float to footwear, towels, etc. Inside there is plenty of room for small gear and a great place to store your phone (water-resistant) on ice so it does not overheat in the sun. This is not a water-tight bag but one that is breathable. I would suggest buying a few sets of side mounting straps so you can just transfer the DeckPod from one craft to the other in 4-snaps.

I had to make some slight modifications to my SUP deck to keep the DeckPod stationary, but these were super easy at no cost. I used some thin nylon boat line that would fit under the bungee pin and finished it off with a little shrink tubing over the knot and loose ends. I then mounted the DeckPod side straps in place which snap into the DeckPod itself — awesome and super stable on the deck.
